Greyson Chance; a jolly good fellow.

GREYSON'S SHOWCASE ON 13NOVEMBER,

I can't believe i actually watched him perform!!!
Remember when i used to be obsessed with him for a period of time. LOL.
First of all; the showcase was just absolutely AMAZINGGGG. I never realized how good a singer he was UNTIL i watched his performance, seriously, a 14-year-old kid as talented as him is not easy to find. He was AWESOME. No joke, i promise you when i tell you this, Greyson's show is definitely the BEST live performance i've been to. (I've been to a couple, y'know....) He's really a nice and genuine person, i really liked how he could connect with his fans even on stage playing the piano and singing at the same time. The way he sings and looks at us is like.... AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW I CAN'T EVEN.
Sigh. He's really very nice. I could tell he really loved his fans. <3 Wah you see lah, i write this post until wanna cry already because i'm having such bad post-greyson-depression lol he left singapore yesterday already :/

Btw, really sad note: Greyson's pet dog (Macy) passed away yesterday when he left Singapore :/ I feel so bad because he couldn't be with her during her last days and had to be busy with promo runs in Singapore. C'mon, he must be tired from all the events and performances in Singapore, and now Macy.. Aiyo. I feel so bad, i wanna cuddle him. </3

ANYWAY, LET'S MOVE ON.

Here it is, the venue of the showcase; St. James Power Station. Weixuan, Janice and I had kind of a hard time looking for it... LOL but we did eventually ;)

So basically we freaking REACHED there at 10.20am or something, when the actual showcase starts at 6.30pm T.T Yeah, we got kinda lost INSIDE the St. James place, when we finally found the Power Station, there wasn't a single soul there, we weren't even sure whether it was the right place. After a long time of pondering and asking around, we finally confirmed that THAT was the place and we should go for lunch first before returning to start queueing. The floor was wet lah, we couldn't sit there and wait anyways.
So we went over to VIVOCITY for Subway lunch!

SOOOO SAD, we had lunch, bought stuff and snacks BEFORE returning to the Power Station at around 12pm. WTF WTF WTF WTF WE WERE ALMOST 30+ IN QUEUE :( We regretted not queueing at the start when there wasn't ANYONE at all......... boohoo.

After the excitement (kinda) died out and we started realizing we had 6 HOURS to go, the boredom begins.

Studying!!! Didn't get anything into my head, but who cares lol.

FOOD!!!!!! For when we're waiting and queuing up lol.

MY CROISSANTS :( flattened because i sat on my bag or something. I don't know.

STUPID RAIN SPOILED EVERYTHING. 

Entire floor was wet so we had to stand up for the REMAINING 3 HOURS. GOSH, it was only 3.30pm then, dammit, imagine how we felt. :(

Still got mood to camwhore lol.

Poor people waiting in the rain! Felt so bad even though it wasn't even our fault. 

Camera crew from Universal Music(I think?) going around filming and interviewing fans. HEHE WE GOT INTERVIEWED TOO!!!!!! :) 

HAHAHA this is Zack and Amy(sp?), they were awesome people we met while waiting in line! Super cute and funny. Check out Zack's youtube page! :)

The rain got SUPER DUPER HEAVY! Even us (in the shelter) got wet :( Poor people outside!!! SOME HAD NO UMBRELLAS AT ALL. 

So after a LOOOOOOOOOOONG 3HOURS WAIT standing in the freaking rain, they finally let us in!!!!! Omg you wouldn't even BELIEVE how happy and excited i was omg i think i almost peed my pants.

HAPPY US :D 

You can't reallyyyyy tell from the pictures because my camera is wide-screen and shit. BUT WE WERE REALLY CLOSE TO THE STAGE, it was just 3-4people in front of us, and it's the stage already. INSANE OR WHAT!?!?!?!?! I was just crazily happy like you couldn't even believe it, SERIOUSLY!!

Jerilyn! lucky girl got to meet Greyson 6 TIMES when he was in Singapore! 

CAN YOU JUST LOOK AT THAT INSANE CROWD, and can you believe; we WAITED in that crazyass moshpit HUMAN SARDINE PACKAGE for one whole damn hour. I swear everyone was pissed because the people behind kept pushing and pushing us. INSANITY!!!! I was so frustrated urgh. Plus we've been standing for 3 whole hours outside already, ANOTHER HOUR IN THAT MOSHPIT ALMOST KILLED ME. But the thought that greyson is gonna come out later kept me going lol cheesy but TRUE. It was really stupid because we kept chanting his name and cheering but he didn't come out for another hour aiyo. And people screamed for no reason which made us SUPER MAD, like seriously, don't get everyone hyped up for nothing, we were all frustrated. 

ANYWAY, HE FINALLY CAME OUT!!!!!!!! When he entered and went up the stage man i SWEAR i almost fucking died. The people behind pushed us SO HARD that we literally FLUNG FORWARD I SWEAR, I won't lie, i was crying when he first went up on stage because someone stepped on my foot and it hurt so bad, and everyone was pushing the hell out of me i started crying LOL WHATEVERRRRRRRR i know i'm a baby, but seriously i cried pretty bad. 

BUT NEVERTHELESS, HERE HE IS!!!!!

I think weixuan was about to faint at that moment. lol she was spazzing so crazily.

They invited 3 fans up on stage to play some Q&A to win some gifts, walao it was insanely loud and rough when greyson was choosing those 3 people CRAZY I TELL YOU. I was still crying so i didn't even raise up my hand lol. Lucky girls!!!! They all got a hug from greyson :(

One of them was super teary-eyed (could tell from where we were standing) and Greyson, BEING THE SWEETEST GUY EVER, went up to her and said something like "Oh my god are you gonna cry? Please don't cry!" GOODNESS SAKE OMG i'm hyperventilating as i write this omg omg omg omg HE'S SO CUTE ARGH.

Anyway, this stupid dumb angmoh girl went up, she went first, so the emcee asked her :

"What's the name of Greyson's debut album?" 

Guess what? SHE DIDN'T KNOW. what the fruckery?!?!?!?!?!!? SERIOUSLY SIA IT WAS ON THE BACKDROP BEHIND THEM, ON EVERYBODY'S HANDS. SERIOUSLY HOW CAN YOU GO TO THE SHOWCASE AND GO UP ON STAGE WITHOUT KNOWING THE NAME OF HIS ALBUM?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! dumb blonde. She got the prize in the end. Pffffft. Greyson was like "Oh haha..." kind of reaction. lol stupid girl. 

The second girl (about to cry that one) got the hardest question that GREYSON asked himself; 

Greyson: "Where was the album cover set in?" 

Girl: "Erm...... Oklahoma?" 

Greyson: *Laughs* "No, Oklahoma doesn't have big buildings like these!" 
Girl: *Struggles to think of an answer*

Greyson: *GOES UP TO HER AND WHISPERS THE ANSWER TO HER*

OMFGASDLDFGHKJFLHKJLKFDLKFLKGJHLKFKJFGHOLYJESUSCHRIST OMG the entire place went crazy lol seriously she's so lucky TT 

The third girl got a (rather) easy question, tho i didn't know the answer:

emcee: "When is Greyson's birthday?" 

Girl: *super confident* " asdkljfgh November....." (i couldn't hear properly lol)

emcee: *laughs* "Sorry, it's 16 August!" 

Aww, so wasted, but she got the prize in the end! 

Then it was ENOUGH OF TALKING AND PERFORMING TIME!!!

First song: Unfriend you. 

i SWEAR he made eye contact with me during this song like 10+times!!!!!! His eyes actually quite small lor LOL BUT WHO CARES, i could still see that he looked right into my eyes! Omg i just smiled damn foolishly at him lolololololol crazy fangirl mode. 

Second song: Hold On Till The Night(!!)

I was so excited and hyped up when he sang this song because it was one of my TOP favourites on his album!!!!!!

Third song: Home is in your eyes.

Super excited for this song too! It is one of my top faves too! :D He's really so sweet, he told us before he started singing this song that he WROTE this song for a girl he missed at home when he's away(AWWWWW), and when he sings this song, he thinks of his fans. But i think that was bullshit lah LOLOLOLOLOL JK, but he probably thinks of the girl first before any of his fans, since he wrote it for her. He's so sweet lor, whoever is his future girlfriend is SO lucky. <3 But anyway, this song was really heartfelt and nice. LISTEN TO IT, y'all will LOVE it!!! 

HERE COMES THE CLIMAX IN THE PICTURE ABOVE!!!!! Because you see, the lyrics was supposed to go like this:

"I'd travel a thousand miles just so i can see you smile..." 

BUT BEING THE SWEETEST GUY HE IS, he totally changed the lyrics and sang it as:

"I'd travel a thousand miles just so i can see Singapore smile..." 

LIKE OMGGGGGGGG ASDFLGHKFJHKFGLHDF I freaking cried, i swear i cried so so so so so hard i didn't even cry this hard during bieber concert. I cried like MAD he sang that line that i had to stop recording his performance LOLOLOLOL CRAZY ME. But seriously it's true mah, he travelled THOUSANDS of miles from USA to Singapore. Awwwww <3. How can i NOT love him?!

Fourth song: Paparazzi(!!!!!!!!)

Omg this is like TOTALLY CLASSIC AND EPIC!!!!!! In case you don't know, greyson chance got discovered for that ONE video on youtube of him singing PAPARAZZI. So it was so crazy that i could hear him perform this song!!!!! The entire time i was like "Oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my godddddd" like seriously, i sound so ridiculous because it was all caught on tape haha. 

Making a speech about how he was discovered bcoz of "paparazzi" and Ellen etc....

FUNNY STORY; See the picture above? It was taken HALFWAY through the fourth song, the REASON why he stopped and clapped is because; his mic stand kept dropping halfway when he was singing, so it's like he was singing "Baby you'll be famous chase y-... oops" LOL he had to sing and fix it sing and fix it, it happened during the second song too!!! So this guy came up and helped him with the mic, he STOPPED THE SONG when he saw the technician guy, BEING THE SWEETEST GUY HE IS, he went: 

"Oh hello!" 

OMG ASDLKJHLKJLKHKDFJGLDFHKGJDHKFGJHDFKG THAT IS LIKE THE MOST REWARDING PART OF THE 7HOURS OF WAIT I SWEAR OMG I NEVER SPAZZED SO HARD IN MY ENTIRE LIFE HE WAS SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO  CUTEEEEEEEEEEEEEE PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEE I SWEAR I ALMOST DIED OMG OMG OMG i'm still hyperventilating when i think of it lol he was so cute! Like his "oh hello!" was super super super cute omg i would go through EVERYTHING again just to hear his say that. Awwwwwwwwwwww. 

Then after that guy was done (like after 20sec) he was like "Thank you!" 

The entire arena died again. He was so cute i can't. Then he turned and clapped for him and the entire arena clapped too! Is Greyson the most sweetest and nicest kid ever or WHAT?! Seriously... <3

And then he went back to finish the song lol.

FIFTH SONG: Cheyenne. 

My favourite song off the album!!!!!!!! Enough said, he sang so so so well, the high notes were PERFECT, the low notes were just right. Goodness sake, he's like an ANGEL singing on stage. <3

He made this smiling face (above) when he asked us: 

"Have you been in love, Singapore?" 

And all of us were like "ADKJGLDKFGJLDFKGJLDFKJG NYYYAAAAHEFGDGJKFHDGLDKJG" lol

Then he went on to say something like "Because this song has something to do about love....It's about being in love with a girl and she comes along to break your heart..." 

We were like "OH MY GOD CHEYENNE!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Making us sing with him, sing a tune that he made up lol.

ENDING(kinda)

When he finished "Cheyenne" he was just like 

"Thank you singapore i had so much fun!!!!! etc etc etc...." 

HE LOOKS SO CUTE IN THE PICTURE ABOVE OMG.

So then he bowed and went off the stage, everyone was like "That's it?! *sad face*" So the emcees came up and asked if we want an encore. OBVIOUSLY WE DID!!!!!!!!!!!! I REALIZED AT THAT PART THAT HE HAVEN'T SANG "WAITING OUTSIDE THE LINES"!!! 

Janice started a CHEER! She started chanting "ENCORE, ENCORE, ENCORE, ENCORE..." and everyone joined in. COOL OR WHAT?! Greyson heard us and made his grand entrance again WOOHOOOO!!!! Looking hot after his change of clothes hehe.

ENCORE: Waiting outside the lines.

I kinda cried at this part. That hand-waving-along-with-the-music shit ALWAYS makes me cry.

Can't get enough of the piano part of WOTL. So beautiful. <3

At the end he reached out to grab our hands, I DIDN'T GET TO TOUCH HIM :( But he was super close though!!!! LOOK!!!! INSANE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

I had such a good time omg best performance ever, enjoyed listening to him perform, SERIOUSLY HE'S SUCH A GOOD SINGER........ sigh. He was amazing like INSANELY-amazing.  I'm so blessed. One thing i really like about Greyson is that he's REALLY genuine and original. He doesn't let fame get into his head and he treats people really well, did you know the showcase was only HIM and his PIANO? That's all. He sang 4songs with him just playing the piano and 2 songs with the piano and some background music. He's only 14 and he's already doing this performance shit so amazingly; playing piano + connecting with his fans on stage + singing properly in tune. Seriously he sang SOOOOO well. you won't understand what i'm saying until you watch him perform on your own. Seriously, he's damn good. Very genuine and sweet person, that's what makes me like him so much. <3

Btw, random sidenote: because i was kinda close to the stage, i could REALLY just look at him and study his face..... y'know hor....... his complexion is so damn fair, like seriously he look like vampire sia. SUPER fair and white. LOLOLOLLOLOL JOKE.
